272 coil on 7910
« on: January 22, 2015, 04:27:48 pm »
Any one made a 7910 unlimited yet? I'm wondering if the flywheel will work with the husky coils.

I'd bet it isn't any different than a 272 coil piece on the 7910 ignition coil pole piece and re-time the flywheel like on a 7900?

That's what I'm hoping for. A guy wants to unlimited his since it's 12.8k. That's a bit low for a 70cc saw.

7910 the same coil as in the 7900?  They were putting 272 inside those by removing insides. Remember 2 different ways of doing this I recall.

I think it will work with the 272 coil and retime it.

Thanks. I guess if I get to mess with it I'll try the coil with the new flywheels.
