There's a little rotary valve in there and it can get full of lint or trash. It comes apart and is a cylindrical affair on the side of the carb. The choke lever directly opens the valve. There is a channel back to the pump chamber. The fuel does not go through the metering valve camber before it goes to the injection valve.


I remember reading about it somewhere, I don't remember now as that was 4 or 5 yrs ago. It was either in the 111 repair manual or the Tillotson manual for that carb?
