Dolmar 115 Family Members that share the same basic frame.

115i

Difference between 111i and 115i . . . .
Clutch mechanism design and bar length. In 97 they went to the part time oiler on these saws driven by teeth in the clutch hub to drive a plastic oiler worm as a EPA thing. The old ones had a steel worm gear to drive the oiler full time. So there are three different clutch spider designs as well as two different clutch bell hub designs on this series of chainsaws.

Difference between 111 and 111i . . . .
The 111 has a Walbro carb and the 111i has a Tillotson carb with a valve to an orifice that directs fuel directly from the pump into the venturi. This valve is controlled by the choke lever. There is no choke butterfly valve on the "i" models. Most of them will start and run with the choke lever pulled out but will run very rich. The choke rod is different between a Walbro saw and a Tillotson saw.

The 111 and 115 series both have a closed port cylinder design starting about 1998. Prior to 98, the 111 was open port Kolbensmidt cylinder
The 109's are open port. I've never seen a 110 but the manual says they are closed port except smaller bore than the 111/115
