Well the 119 is all magnesium including the filter cover.   So you are right it is on the heavey side, but when I get to the point I cannot lift one of them, maybe it would be time to give it up anyways. 

I have never ran a Poulan 4000 but I have my 3700 and 395 and I believe it would outcut the 3700 and close to the 395.  It was common to find the Dolmar 119 with 170 to 190 PSI from the factory.  The Poulan saws do not run that kind of compression unless you drop the cylinders in them.  Another thing is the Dolmar is a closed port cylinder and the Poulans are open port.  A side by side test would be interesting.
