With the 6100, the strato is both piston ported and reed valved? I assume this was an effort to make it different from that used on a Husky?
Maybe a way to "work around" some patent?

Bigger wood than we got to try one out it in. The strato dumps straight in to the top of the transfers so I wonder if that design required the reeds??? Someone with more knowledge want to help me out on this theory

Finally got our first PS 6100 shipment with 3/8 chain and 20" bars. Gotta talk the boss into letting me play with one. ;D

Any update?

I want one too .    BTW,  660 Magnum, I think I read somewhere that the 9010 was banned by the EPA in the US because of emissions. Does anyone know if this is true?   I should have bought one when they were still available. Love that saw.

Last year I talked to a Dolmar dealer somewhat near me, and they said the largest Dolmar saw they could get was the 7910 (and they'd have to order it).  No-go on a 9010.  This is in Ca.....

Yeah 9010 is gone. Story I got from rep was EPA killed it. I can't wait till they come out with a replacement for it. 7900 is great but around here everything is compared to an 066. every dealer should stock a 7910

looks like they copied husky in more ways than one. Never the less think its a good saw for 575.00.  I will probably get one off the next order.

So anyone have any  cutting time on one yet?   Feedback?

From what I read, broke in 562xp and brand new 6100.
