I noticed the 6100 started out just right on mixture but got lean as it heated up.

The 562XP had the mixture just right all the way through.

One of the guys in my shop just bought one so we should have some reviews on it the next time we go cut wood and be able to give updates as it breaks in. Plus I sent mine out for porting so that should make it interesting being able to run ported one side by side with a stock one

Yep. Whenever he gets to it. As strong as these run stock I bet when he gets done with it there will be a lot more interest in them. We both run carlton chain so we will put new on and test them. Rafe already decided if mine runs to good randy will get his too so we might not have a stock one to compare with long term

All I care about is how they perform stock anymore.  Hard enough to get folks to spend money on a good saw, let alone the cost of porting one too.
Just to save a few seconds in a cut.
Some will put a smile on your face though. But it takes a special kind of wow to do that anymore.  ;)

Thanks. I went through that manual for about 30pages and gave up.
 Must have missed it.

Been awhile but i haven't forgotten about giving an update.  I sold out of 6100 and  the warehouse was out so i sold my techs saw.  Hopefully have more coming in soon so i can replace his saw and by then I will have mine back from Randy to take a couple videos.
