Managed to run almost a gallon of gas through the 6100 today. Keeps getting stronger.  I will say that big fuel tank is nice. Was running carlton A1LM that I took a little too much off the rakers and she still pulled it really well in 10-16" sassafras. Going to make a video tomoro and post it.  Just me cutting today so nobody to video it.  I saved a nice sized log just for the occasion

That log holder you have is nice for a wood cutter to have. Your saw seems to be picking up power as it breaks in.

Could be there both to prevent reversion, and also to be demonstrably different for patent infringement suit prevention....

I assume the main reason is to "work around" some patent - but am of course not 100% sure.

Btw, combination piston ported/read valve isn't really News - at least JoBu did it in the 1960s....

1.85" X 1.38"  or

47mm X 35mm

http://download.dolmar.com/manuals/24188.pdf

Here is a calculator that will help you calculate the cylinder volume for any given bore and stroke. Lets take the example above bore=47mm, stroke =35mm. Divide the bore in half to get the radius R=(d/2)= 23.5. Plug the radius into the calculator plug the stroke into the calculator then divide the result by 1000 to get the volume in cc.

Is that new aftermarket dolmar 6100 cylinder kits I am seeing already?  $149 for P+C set.  Maybe OEM with good price?
