You get a pretty solid 45 minute run time on a tank of fuel!  Even when brushing etc. with pretty much constant throttle.

Unrelated to that comment....   We got an updated version of the 6100 earlier this fall, and it is greatly debugged from the original release.  We've been doing much better with them.

What has been updated on them? Havent seen any update info and havent had to work on any of them yet. i havent had any trouble with the ones i have sold.

New gas tank with better fuel line routing, slightly different and better fastened fuel lines, different series of carburetor and different series of coil.

carb is still a DM27 DOL, 130153100
CARBURETOR, PS-6100 was the original carb and the part number is still valid so i am not seeing any update to it.

DOL, 130143100
IGNITION COIL COMPLETE, PS-610 still the same as the original part number with no updates that i see

DOL, 130114100
FUEL TANK, PS-6100 still a valid number. this is the number i have on my shelf and there is 1 in the warehouse but they do list a new number on the ipl 130114120 but it comes up as an invalid number.

Cant comment on fuel line routing since I have only been in a couple of these when they first came out. They have been dead reliable for me so far.
I am not seeing any updates ?????????????????????? What am i missing

Same Dolmar factory part numbers, but the ZAMA carb numbers have changed, as have the codes on the prufrex coil from the factory.

In very cold weather the original saws have the fuel lines pull off.  We worked a fix for it with Dolmar but ended up replacing around 40 sets of fuel lines that had come off last winter.  We  have changed out around 20 dead coils on the original saws too.

If you run one of the new, new saws with the most recent carb on it side by side with one of the first saws you notice a big difference.

Carburetor 130153100 changed to 130153101 on 11-2014 and I don’t see any technical information update about any change to the carburetor and not sure why the change of the number.

Ignition Coil 130143100, no reports of any change for the coil, the code change in reference below I believe is the Date Code which of course will change with every production run.

Fuel Tank 130114100 was the original number and then  the EPA label  was added for spares for the USA which caused the number to change to 130114120 and once the stock in the USA is depleted of 130114100  the number will change to 130114120
