Are the holes stripped out for inner bucking spike on the case. Or is it just missing.

I'll check today. Just assumed missing dawg.

Bar that was on it that I didnt get with saw. Last owner sent me pics.

@jmester

Just missing.   Dug out the crap and used air. Then ran bolt in both. Threads look and work perfect.

Hotsaws ported

Woods ported Dolmar PS 9010 pulling a 125 driver 3/8s pitch bar and chain. Working on a ridge top old growth chunk that 3' at the widest part. The saw is a test unit and virtually new. I did some ripping with a 42" Sugi to see how it performed and some cutting with the 38" bar in this video.

I seem to recall one of my stock stihl 084 had that same type of front top erosion on the piston. I ran it as it was no problems.
@adam32 was  that the one you traded for and I had got from Adam?

I vaguely remember a little bit of erosion but nothing like the 9000 piston looks.

That saw is up in Washington now!!

Those Mahle piston and cylinders sure do look nice. I am glad to see Makita is still using them.

I seen them online selling for 168 shipped.  But sold out right now. Just so you know.

I put it back together yesterday to move it.
