Looks like most parts cross over to the 9010 but not all. I will have to get with Nate to check and see which parts are superseded and which are NLA. I got a list together seems like a big list but has a lot of small pieces and rubber bits.

Bought the Tillotson HS 294 non limiter capped carb from overseas. Well what showed up was the limiter capped HS295. Both carbs are for the 9010. I did some searching and found that the idle speed screw and the high and low speed screws and there tension springs are the only difference. So I began the hunt for the screws found the H and L screws to be NLA here state side. Found some on eBay from a guy in Russia. Hopefully they show up. The tension springs are shared with the HS 320 that fits Stihl 660 so I can rob those from a spare carb if need be. Nate is checking on the idle speed screw witch should be still available as it is used on other models.

I have always enjoyed hunt parts and researching a part to find what I need. Just makes everything more difficult when it seems all the parts you end up needing are overseas some where. Thankfully we have the internet to make it a little easier.

Wow interesting. The Russian seller seems legit for sure.  He was the one I found shipping in the topends etc too.

Think I seen Nate had found a 9000 now too.

Yes he sure did find one. Sounds like he needs to do a lot of the same stuff that I am doing mine. I should know the Dolmar ps9000 pretty well by the end of this. He seemed legit to me as well guess I will know more when I get a shipping confirmation.

Nate and I were talking about maybe just using the HS320 the Venturi is the same size. The orientation on the impulse and fuel nipple are different as well. Also the idle, low, high speed screws are different as well. May try it out at a later time. As the hs320 is a 50-60$ dollar carb and the HS 294/295 is a $90carb and not available here.

On a side note what could be the differences in the high speed check valve/nozzle from the HS carb made for different saws. I.E. HS320 to HS295

Nate's dolmar 9000 pics

Sorry I got nothing on either thread about those check valves. Maybe Mike knows something.

I don't know the difference in those carbs. I don't see why it wouldn't work since it works on a 660

I think it would work just fine, do a little change over and should work just fine.

This is probably the cleanest PS-9000 around. It may have made 4 or 5 cuts.

Didn't realize I don't have a better picture of the saw.
