Some PHO dry weight of the 50cc.
510 was the open port with aluminum case.
5100 closed port with mag case.
5105 CAT muffler mag case.

5100S had a higher limited coil with a windowed piston. 5105 uses a slab sided piston with a cat muffler and a lower limiter. Same saw otherwise.

It’s possible port timing is less jazzy in the 05. Can’t remember for certain. The carb is too small for huge rpm gains so I port them with an emphasis on torque. All of them that I have seen come into my shop had 3/8 on them as they should have.

510/5105 were available with 16, 18, 20" bars in both 325 and 3/8. Dam near the same price no matter how they were spec. So most shops ordered them with 20" 3/8 and most shops that had a clue avoided the 3/8 18" bar because of the oddball DL count

510, 5121= same saw. 5100, 5105, 5000= same saw. 5001, 5105H= same saw as 5105 but with heated handle

510/5121 were aluminum cased except the last of production run was mag cased... not a clue if that was the last 3 month or year or 2 years of production...I just know they did away with the aluminum case at the end.

510 was built in Germany then switched to China assembly then back to Germany
