I have some Dolmars set at 12500 and have not had any problem with carbon. They are rather fat on mixture when you start out but as the cylinder gets hot, they are fine in the cut.

You can not set a 13500 saw at 13500 as it will hit the limiter. 13000 is about as high as you can go with one.
We should share what we know... someone may learn...
