My 7900 normally runs a 24" bar and the balance is good.
My neighbor across the road had a big white pine down after Sandy. A chance to get onto some big wood, I volunteered to slice an dice.
Installed the 32" bar with a skip chain and had a ball, saw dust and chips everywhere, even noodled the big ones, to cut down on the weight.

The mix was a little fat and four cycled but cleaned up in the cut. my worry was the bar oil, but it fed enough to keep the chain wet.

I think the Dolmar 7900 is an under rated saw. over shadowed by the S and H brands.
I also have a Makita 6400 and a OEM 79cc P&C in case I run into a HD rental or I need a new jug.

What was the question ???
