new Dolmar 6400 spikes

Dolmar has changed their spikes and they now have holes in them for a roller chain catcher. The stihl one fits perfect  ;D

They appear even bigger now?  Can you post a pic with old on top of new to see the differences. Which looks like many.

im going to get some pics but it has just been a busy busy busy day today and now i find out more snow is headed our way so i guess i will get to be up at 2am again.

They are definitely bigger. they hang below the saw by an inch.

Those are something aren't they?  I was surprised as hell a few weeks ago when my newest saws started coming through with those.

Our local machine shop is making us some smooth ones, and normalish sized ones.

Took me a couple days but I tracked down part numbers and put my order in for 2 dozen sets of them. Dolmar does not have a roller chain catcher though. They put the holes in for one but at this moment they don't have one available or have plans to make one available
