sach dolmar 143 chain brake help
« on: December 13, 2013, 05:48:30 pm »
Today I got a sach dolmar 143 on a  trade and it didn't have the brake handle on it but come with it. It doesn't look broke but just unhooked. I think im missing some parts for it to. I didn't take it apart yet but snapped a couple pics If someone could guide me to a assembly diagram id really appreciate it.

Or if you had pics of your own  I could look at. Also can you tell me from my pics what im missing if there is no parts diagram available.

OK i will post pics later it says file to large and im not that great on computers lol

It's worth the $$ they were asking.  Ask chainsman1. I think he may have built a 143 more some kind of racing.

It had a brake at one time parts of which are still there but it was not a current style inertia brake.

Take inventory with the IPL?

Just Put a carb kit in it and a new plug. It runs like a new one now.

A new one with no chain brake lol

governor type thing.  put a bb in them to defeat it from flooding the saw out if over the gov rpm range limit.  ;)
