Chainsaw Repair

The 143 has 95cc and for sure is a beast. As handy as a Dolmar 133, this is almost 100cc-class!
The power cutter type 343 has the same basis, I repaired and tested one of these recently.

However, the crank is the same as in the 133 super. And the 133 super  is basically an ordinary 133 with a different piston and slightly higher compression.
While the 143 beeing somehow the "dual-pimped" Dolmar 133, at least back home in Germany a few crank-failures have been reported due to fatigue of material! (The 133 super/143 crank is actually different from the ordinary 133-crank because they switched to roller bearings at that time, with a different clearance on the crank. The main bearing of the rod is basically the same)

The 143 is one of the saws I would inspect very carefully when making a trade, just checking for not having a scored piston might not be enough. And the lower hours the better.
