CS 400
« on: August 07, 2016, 05:16:28 pm »
Had been wanting a small saw for limbing mostly and small stuff. being a husky fan I looked at their 40cc saw and didn't like what I seen, they can't even put a second stud and bar nut on it.
I had read some good things about the Echo cs400 here and there on the net and with the return policy the dealer has and the Veterans discount I said to my self what have I got to loose. It was a year old in May and I just put my third chain on it yesterday. I have been using it a lot to cut even bigger stuff. I like it being so light and does it ever sip the fuel. A full tank and still some in it after cutting Oak and Ash up yesterday for an hour.

They're a good little saw aren't they!  I presume you know about the muffler mod and carb screws on these too?  Really makes a difference on them.

Yup know about the mods and the dry wall screws to remove the limiter caps. But for now I have bigger saws if I need more power.

Out on sawmill jobs I let customers use my CS400 saws and a lot of them will hold it up and look at it then ask where to get one.  The saw everyone likes.  Steve
