The CS510 , cCS520 and CS530 cut good stock but plain rip with a muff modd. Far as the CS550 I'd either get a CS500p or a CS600.  I have a brand new CS500p which was kinda doggy stock, really improved with a muff modd but is still slower than any of my  CS510 or CS520 saws, maybe after break in it might catch them.   Steve

I just picked up a cs-440 it's missing b&c, chain brake. I can use one of my extra 520 chains so need a bar.
My  preference would be 16".  p&c look good and it starts fine but doesn't want to run, so a Carb kit is in order.
Very little saw cake so doesn't look heavily used, in fact very clean for $45.00. Hopefully can make a dollar on this one. Thanks guys, I always learn something she n I drop by.

One other thing the CS500p weighs just over 14 1/2# ready to cut, no fudging on the weight on this one.    Steve
