   The CS510 , cCS520 and CS530 cut good stock but plain rip with a muff modd. Far as the CS550 I'd either get a CS500p or a CS600.  I have a brand new CS500p which was kinda doggy stock, really improved with a muff modd but is still slower than any of my  CS510 or CS520 saws, maybe after break in it might catch them.   Steve
