Does your new 340 use the small reed valve engine like the 341?  The reed engines dont rev as high as the piston ported design but they have a nice smooth even power band and run forever. 

If your interested in an Owners Manual or IPL (parts diagram) use this link: http://www.echo-usa.com/Support-Help/FAQs.  If you search out the specs, sometimes they will offer additional info like whether that model has the slope advance ignition system and/or which engine series it is of. (power boost)

Looks like it is in nice shape.
