Mine is grey just like one in pic, not silver 660.

I just removed the coil and all wires. Cleaned everything and made sure all was right and gapped right going to flywheel and put  back together. Still no spark.
I took my spark tester and put on another saw to make sure it  worked, lit right up so it was good. Just a bad coil IMO.

Shame feels like good compression pulling over and plug was getting fuel to it.

If you don't end up fixing it, I'd be interested in buying it from you.

I'm listening to trades or offers in  PM's.   Going to put it back together and shelf it if no deals are made and wait on a used coil in the future.
Oh I'm not washing the dirt off this one either now that she dont want to run.   :D :D ;)

I got a parts saw here.  It's mostly stripped, but I'll look to see if there's a coil still on it.

This one is missing the on/off switch, air filter and a dead coil.   Let me know.

I might look at other coils to see if I can get something to work. echo coils look to be one of kind though.

Sorry. I got your hopes up.  The saw I have is missing the coil.

Let me get your hopes up again - I just talked with my favorite Echo dealer and he said some echo coils are guaranteed for life.  He didn't know if the 3900 was on that list, but it might be worth looking into...

Called my local echo dolmar dealer. He wont help wants nothing to do with it. Says call echo. LMAO he is worthless IMO.  He is the reason I got rid of my 7900 back years ago.

Ask him to look up coil and check price for me. he comes back I dont know how to look up the part number on a echo that old  :o   I said so you want me to give you the number   ;D  he is like how did you get that, I'm like right off the echo site and their IPL just like you should be able to.   I will never buy from that dealer JMO.

I think you have to be original  owner of echo  to get a replacement coil under warranty anyways and take it to the dealer and have them do the labor at $60 a hour. No way would I do that.

He can look up stuff on the Internet just like you can and he can do it right there at the counter because he and I have done it before.

The good stihl dealer I go to in Madsion is a echo dealer too.

I'm just going to shelf it and wait on a used coil or attempt another coil transplant or just trade it.  Like I said the new coil list at $88  :o   the saw isnt worth that IMO.
