 I did the switch  on a CS4400 and it way better with the 3/8 lp  6 tooth driver, I tried a 7 tooth driver first which cut about the same as the .325 chain.  A sprocket off a CS400 fit on the CS4400 but I had to machine (grind) a little off the end.  I did some timed cuts between my CS400 and a CS450 (with the .325 chain) and they were about dead even. With the 3/8 6 tooth lp on the CS450 it should cut quite a bit faster than a CS400.  If you find a 6 tooth sprocket that fits right on let us know.   Steve
