46x31 is way to big  51.54

only numbers that come up to the 49.3 are those I showed earlier above.

The CLS 5000 brush saw has same cc with those bore and stroke too.

yep, 46mm x 31mm is too big, but after checking some other models saws i found that 45mm x 31mm is showing 49.3cc, so maybe that's were the 5000 is, i'm going to make some calls today to try and confirm........i don't see how the 4500/4600 and the 5000 can share the same crank without them having a 31mm stroke.....

Didnt know they shared same crank.

Bingo that has to be it.  45x31 = 49.3cc too. I thought I had ran those numbers, but must have slipped.

i've got a nearly complete 5000 in the works right now that will most likely be coming to my address, i'll be able to confirm if the cylinder will fit in the 4600 cases without mods.... ;)

Are the 4500 cylinder same as 4600?  The 4000 goes on the 4500 I THINK? Dont recall now.   Thats why I had wondered if it was as simple as putting a 5000 on 4500.

I have a 4000 cylinder too with no piston.

yep, 4500 and 4600 are the same, i still don't know if putting a 5000 cylinder on a 4500/4600 is easy, still need to find out if the cases will accept it........i still have yet to even see a 4000 and i think there was a 4100 as well, seams like another where the bore and stroke will need to be checked.... ???
