As traded in. Cant believe this thing had a 3/8 8 rim on it with 24" bar. No bar was included but he told me that is what he ran for bar.

Dang she sounds and runs good. Cant wait to see what she does in the wood.

Looks as though it has more barn rash than usage scars? Just someone's firewood saw?

It has some kind of paint spatter but it wiped up pretty clean.

I put a 7T and a 16" on it to test. Holy cow these things run good. 8T will be going back on.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cut4fun had the 702 out again on Friday.

Used a 8 pin rim and a 20" bar

Was run in a comparison with a Dolmar 6800. Though the two chainsaws are close in size. the Dolmar runs at a lot higher rpm and uses a 7 pin rim.

So the Echo 702 is a torque monster?

Anyway, to run both saws, the Dolmar 6800 ran a lot higher rpm but to try to observe how fast the bar was going through the log - it was about the same with both chainsaws.

Either chainsaw would be a good one out in the woods if you needed a good 20" chainsaw.

The 702 is large, dimension wise, but is balanced well. Not a bad chainsaw at all. Also the Echo is more than 20 years older than the Dolmar 6800. However the Dolmar 6800 is a remake of the Dolmar 116Si & 120Si which were improvements on the original 116 and 120 etc. So the designs were not really so far apart.
