I'd love to run this one.  But not all the parts were in the basket.

Missing oil pump guts, muffler cover and decomp bits.

67L36Driver - I don't know if this will help you (see figure 2, attached file).  I want to say that the pump for the 750 is common and you might be able to source out one from another model?  I have never had mine out to compare it with the 452/702/. But if it is the case, 451/52 can usually be picked up for pretty cheap.  Unfortunately no decomp there though.

Cut4Fun - Perhaps we can put this somewhere?

Could make it it's own thread to save here too?  Just make the heading the links name. Echo oiler handbook

Thanks Hogwood.  Gives me more to look for instead of just the 750.

Whats the longest bar that one could use comfortably on these 71cc saws?

Guy before me ran 24" and 8T and yes it does pull 8T fine, I was  :o. I tried 7T and shorter bar before and went back to 8T.
Thinking 7T and longer set up now with full skip.

I've wondered that as well.  I know the oil pumps are generous on these saws.  It is a matter of torque after that I guess.  In fact the same pumps were used on many of their saws all the way up to 1001.  Specs peg that max output of that pump at 18cc/min at 6500 RPM. Plus you've got manual.  28" or more with skip, I bet.  1001 has the same delivery rate specs as the 702.

I'm going to get stupid and put the 36" with full skip and 7T for a go later.

Bar off the yellow 81cc onto the older orange 71cc.   ::)

Modified Mark sent the oil pump out of a 602EVL.  Seems to fit fine.  I can get it to pop on a prime but need muffler for it to run.

Pics uploading to photobucket.

This saw is very very lucky to be alive.   :o
While pulling the old muffler off that had been tack welded and 1 bolt put all the way through with nut on back side 9to hold together).
Somewhere along the line the oem welded on nuts on the base had come undone and 3 of the were found inside the muffler.

Old muffler
