Is or was that the biggest cc echo sold in the states? Is there a bigger cc echo sold overseas?  What model was it if so, I think I remember something, but unclear anymore.  :'(

A close friend of mine is an ECHO fan and has chainsaws of that brand in several sizes.  We did use one of his biggest saws to do some falling several years ago and it was a dang good saw, stood up very well with my Jonsered 910E.

He was in the Navy and purchased a lot of tools like chainsaws when overseas due to the great prices he was able to take advantage of.  After reading this post, I e-mailed him requesting information on his big saw that I believe he bought overseas in Japan.  If and when I hear back from him, if he has any information that sheds light on the topic of this thread I will pass it along to you.

Echo Nut,

I checked with my friend regarding purchasing his larger ECHO chainsaw in Japan and he did not acquire it overseas.

The saw performed very well, but it is a smaller chainsaw than I expected.  It is a CS-750EVL, rated at 78.6cc.  No help regarding larger ECHO chainsaws in the 100cc plus area.

Thanks for the info JJ.  I didnt know how to tell the difference in a 900 or 1001.

Was hoping it was 1001 though.
