Echo CS-340 hole in front gas tank
« on: February 24, 2016, 10:36:43 pm »
So I picked up a used cs340 and it has a small hole in the front of the tank. I cleaned it up with a Dremel bit  and was going to use Jbweld but before doing great so wanted to get some input from those who may of made this repair before. I want to make sure of the right product to use  that will resist exposure to gas.

I would ( this is what I do) mold in Quiksteel, let set. The I would coat with SealAll and let set.

quiksteel I use http://bluemagicusa.com/index.php/blue_magic/products/164/

sealall  http://eclecticproducts.com/seal-all.html

The rest of quiksteel http://bluemagicusa.com/index.php/blue_magic/category/27/
