Your white must be the grey ones.

I have a complement of echo yard stuff with most of it being gray. One is red.

I like them all and never any trouble.

Echo PB-2400, SRM-2100, SRM-2400, HC-1500-2E, & TC-210

All are 52 x 38mm bore and stroke.  8000p has the largest carb and the smallest combustion chamber.  John Deere 800v would be in this class.
1990's gray T1E are wide combustion chamber, loose squish and smaller carb.  The latest one out with the black handle support comes with the new quad port cylinder but even a smaller carb?  HDA-153 shows in the schematic at 15.8 venturi.  They have been in production since 1986.

Warning Tim. They are heavy. Feel like a 066 660 weight in my hands.

Anyone have the actual PHO weight of the  8000 dry?    OEM specs 16.5lbs PHO

Thanks C4F, not intending to get into them just trying to learn something about another orange saw!

Yep. 16.5 with no bar, chain, clutch cover, fuel, oil or extra air...  Only plastic is the top cover.

Wow, given that it would be like lugging around a 3120! Probably would top 22 pounds ready to cut even with a 24 inch bar and chain.
