Here is the schematic;
http://www.echo-usa.com/getattachment/d315aa84-9ede-49bf-a702-fe26c9166b1d/CS4500_010187.pdf

Manufactured from 1985-1987.  45cc, 11.2lbs.  Carb; HDA-28 later model show a WT-589 but Im thinking that may be a misprint.

.325 chain.

Should have a two piece ignition;
Primary Coil Resistance: 0.1 - 0.5 Ohms
Secondary Coil Resistance: 1.5 - 2.5 (K) Ohms

Operating Speed: 7,000 - 9,500 RPM
Idling Speed: 2,500 - 2,800 RPM

Bolt on cylinder with a magnesium crankcase, not a clamshell engine design.  Early ones had no chain brake, just a hand guard.  If you have the latter model that has the chain brake and need the handle send me a PM.

Hello,

Have three of them and one sold to a good friend. They are good reliable saws. The only weak point i discovered is the fixation of the bar studs. They are mounted with a square had between two magnesium rails in the wall of the oil tank. Had to replace one right crankcase half because of a big crack around the bar stud.
In my opinion it could not happen at normal use but i have seen two with bar stud problems. The one with the crack, one with a lose stud not pointing out in a 90 degree angle.
It are well starting machines, higher in rpm then the EVL models, easy to work on and not heavy. It is my first choice universal saw, always running. A nice feature is the little handknob to ajust the idle. Like them a lot.

Greetings from Holland

Jos.
