Yes the 5220 is 152 in yellow.
Had a 385 Husky that did the same thing intake boot was **** on the bottom side.  when you put AF on it would act up. I'm assuming the weight of AF  opened crack.  New boot runs LANO.
Shep

yup. my 346 did this when the boot gave up the ghost.

I ask about idle etc.

Email back =  ((It will idle with AF on just has issues getting to wot if you feather it it will but I didn't run it much one of the ones I just got tired of working on.))

Man that sounds like it could be a carb kit acting like that.  You think a **** boot would do that too?

Kevin, do you still have the Efco cd? If you do get him to set the carb to factory settings. Alot of guys get them too lean if the stops are removed.

Please somebody tell me where the rules and regs for this forum are.............wouldn't want to say i was a dealer or anything!   Do you deal with ESF for your Efcos?

It's cool to be a dealer here. No rule on letting us know or your not a sponsor so you cant say so crap.

All I ask is dont spam the for sale section to death pushing  stuff like some did with muffler mod covers in the past on other sites.

Have at it and Thanks for joining our family and please share the knowledge with us.

That is good to hear i am always tip toeing over there afraid of letting something slip. I really like this place more and more  BILL

Must say first time running a efco 152 CC 5018. Just got the piston kit in Friday and installed yesterday. Just finished first cuts in dry ash with 18" buried with a 325 chain that has those big crap safety bumper fins.
Even though everything was against it. Being not broken in and crap chain. I was highly impressed. Only thing I done was added 2 holes to the other side of the inner muffler baffle.

I did have a oh chit moment rebuilding yesterday. I thought I was going to have to pull it all back apart. Thought the piston was hitting on the bottom of stroke. Couldnt figure it out. Well got ready to pull it down after giving up and turned flywheel one last time by hand. Noticed something sticking onto inner fly. I had dropped one of those plastic tabs for coil when disassembling it and didnt notice. Thank goodness. All good.

wth is the trick with the intake spring clamp? Looks so easy a caveman could get it. But I fought the dang thing till I rednecked a tie strap around the ends.   :P :D

I'm back.

Lost interest in saws for a while, running the service dept for a Stihl dealer almost did me in. Job change and the fun is back. Went out to the shed last week and found 4 Efco 152's. Got 2 running with only fresh gas, the others need a coil and oil pump. Found many saws that I haven't seen in years. Playing again. Lots of reading to catch up on.

Good to see yeah again.   Impressed with these little guys so far.

Parts etc is another thing though in my area.  I  order online for their needs.
