I would imagine those are in fact NOS Homelite rims used for the 2000 and 2100 models .Why Homelite had the bright idea to use a 6 spline rim I have no idea .The drum size is the exact size use on large Macs .The only difference being the bearing size which I think could be adapted if worse came to worse .Mac 7 spline drums are more readily available than 6 spline NOS Homelite drums .Of the later I have just one complete set up .drum ,bearing rim ,rare NOS .

I think a few years back BillG landed a pair of 2100s' off flea bay that didn't have clutchs .I never heard how he made out on that deal .Good old powerfull west coasters but the parts are like looking for a hens tooth .

Yep.  I have a 2100-S that needs a muffler (can and cover as mine are rusted out), muffler shield and cylinder cover (with attaching bolt and decomp lever spring clips).  Those parts seem to be made of unobtanium, and the fellows that have them want my first born in exchange for the parts....

I remember seeing Bill's posts looking for those clutch parts.

Altough the saw from what I gather was a success as far as an old growth faller I don't think it sold in great numbers especially the 2100 S which is also what I have .That thing as you know has a splined crankshaft making it even rarer to find parts for .I think Bill's had the keyed  cranks .

I'm not exactly certain what the crankshaft looks like but I told Bill it might be possible to remachine a clutch spider from a 125 or 797 Mac to retrofit it there's enough meat on the spider which I have no idea if so or not .Might even be such a thing as a clutch from a Stihl 084 because with a longer crankshaft stub it could probabley run an inboard drum .

Every so often certain parts of shrouding covers etc come up on flea bay but they are proud of them .

If you can work sheet metal it probabley would not be that difficult to make a muffler if there was enough left of the old one to copy .You could make the muffler guard too but that would entail some heliarcing on the aluminum .
