The entire population for the state of Wyoming is only around half a million people.  The prong antelope is around 700,000.   The elk population is around 125,000.    In other words a lot of open spaces like you said.    I am moving to the eastern part of the state it is where my wife's family lives.     Nothing but grass lands where I will be.    I will have to drive about 50 miles for public land to cut firewood.
