like the wood grain as well. easier to read and looks good. do miss the wood chips though, maybe we can have them back at some point.

The chips were just a pile I made and took pic of. Maybe someday cut some really light colored chips in a pile and maybe it will help keep all the shadows down etc.
I agree the chips were hard to read around compared to the grain were using now.

FWIW, I like the grain better against the font size and color you have set up.

The writing on the chips was just about impossible for me to see. It is better on the oak but still hard to see. The writing on the leaf covered ground is almost invisible to me. Perhaps it's my eyesight but I am on the internet a lot and this is definitely one of the most difficult to see the text on.
Both the size of the font and the color combos are the issue.

Note: I am only referring to the top of the page. Wood grain and above. The rest of the pages are great.

I like this forum because it has less BS than many of the others. I like to exchange info without someone turning every thread into some kind of off color joke. Just wish I could view it easier. I use a computer, not a portable device fwiw.

Sounds like I need to find a nice pic for the top with a bunch of chainsaws that will show up with the black lettering. Hmmmm just thought of something if you hold the cursor over the letters on the top they change colors anyways. Try that.

I just tried it, run cursor over the letters on top of page and they turn white with lighted background. There you go.   ;)

There is always the "CTRL/+"...I use it to enlarge font on everything I look at on the 'net.

Got a few photo's of chainsaw.....the antique saw that were being shown off at the Fryeburg Fair 2013.  If you want them, I can send you the original photo's.
