I tried to respond to a PM from cut4fun, and send him a PM, but it doesn't appear that either PM went through.
Maybe I don't have enough posts, or there's something I'm doing wrong

I got one PM from you today. Just sent back.
Make sure you are PM'ing and also if you set to long it gets timed out and not sent. Same thing with posting. It will time you out if you walk away come back and hit submit or post or send. You think it sent but you will see read letters saying timed out. You then have to re-send, re-post etc.
