I like it. I have a blue and white XL12. The paint looks like the day it rolled off the line. I take it out and make a few cuts with it every month or so. It goes pretty well, though it is heavy for the displacement.

Not a fast running saw and even though theyre heavy, they seem to have some torque.
I love the way they sound ;D
I run mine every now and then for a few cuts just to hear it run.
I need a new sprocket  :-\

They were a rock solid design and the most copied saw of all times .

It most likely was Homelites answer to competition for the McCulloch 10-10 and thusly both companies sold them by the 10's of thousands if not by the millons .Every so often you run across somebody still using one to cut firewood .

As common as they once were I'd think finding a sprocket would be relatively  easy to find .
