That is my pic.  Can't remember if the 240 is the same as that little bastard XL (regarding the tanks), as they're somewhat of a funky cousin to the XL, with many minor differences.

With the XL, we have to slide the engine out to get to the lines.  They 'tether' the tanks to the engine.  The FW doesn't need to be removed to deal with the tanks and lines.  The engine is held in the case by four screws.  Observe how the throttle link attaches to the carb and trigger.  With practice, they aren't hard to reassemble.  I had that damn XL apart about 10-15 times.....

The 240 has a different carb placement.  Oil pump and lines be very different too.  Wouldn't be surprised if the tanks are also very different.  I have a basket case 240 in my shop, but I can't look at it now.  I'm over at my folks place.  Mom passed Saturday afternoon, and I'm keeping an eye on Dad...

For older saws:
Tune the H side so that it 4-strokes (burbles) at WOT unloaded and just cleans up when under load.
When you lift cutting load, the saw should immediately revert to 4-stroking.  Fine tune the transition point for the wood you're cutting.
