Super EZ

not as the name implies.  I am trying to resurrect an old one, but it's bleeding badly ( all the bar oil out when set down).  I have heard it may have something to do with a check vavle.  Whaat the Flagnog?

that's exactly the parts list I am working from!  got it from chainsawr.com.  after some further cleanup, I discovered the cam screw on the oil pump was very loose, and the attachment area of the oil pickup line to the oil pump  was old and wornout and leaking. so I am thinking that all I need to do is tighten the screw and replace the oil line.  Does the screen on the pickup line detach and can be attached to a new generic (rather than specific part) oil line?

of course, not that easy.  must remove the clutch and oil pump to get the cam screw back in.  What does the cam screw do anyway?   Is there something I should pay attention to while tightening it? All I can tell from the parts list  is that it goes in the general vicinity of the worm gear, and I don't see any mention of any cam for anything.  also, what does a reed valve do?

clutch and oil pump out, cleaned up, works fine.   I guess nobody has a Super EZ.  which makes it rare.  good for me!
