Homelite. UT-10045 super XL carb removal help??????
« on: May 08, 2012, 11:19:03 am »
I can not fig out how to remove the carb.  I have a rebuild kit for carb.  Piston is in great shape, compression is good but it will only run for 20 seconds.   So I want to rebuild carb. Wdc.   I disconnected throttle, fuel line and choke but can't seem to find where to disconnect carb.    No visible nuts or bolts.  And it is in there tight as if it was welded in place.  Thanks for your help in advance, I'm so happy I found this board.  Many knowledgable members!!!!!!   Thanks again.......

Some these like the XL150, you have to remove the engine crankcase from the outer case.

I upload my pictures to Photo Bucket and then link to them here. They are automatically properly sized that way.

Here's a parts explosion of the chainsaw. You will need to copy and paste this line into a blank Internet address line in a new tab.
