I saw one on this site a couple weeks ago posted by cut4fun.  It was a picture of a bar on a chainsaw and you could see the flat wire spring wound one direction around the front bar stud and the other direction around the rear stud.

It was possibly a purchased spacer? But you could just use a couple coils from a spring around each stud for a spacer?
