Chainsaw Repair

I could see nothing coming out of the oil filler hole on my SXL 12, is there supposed to be something you can see from the filler hole? Or, do I have to strip it down?

Just what you see in the pic.

Here's a good video on how to rake the saw apart to get at the tanks and pump. He is pulling it apart for a carb kit but the strip down and assembly is the same.



Here is a vid of the oil line repair. It's for a Super 2 but basically the same as your XL
