The above years of this saw came from the factory with a 51.4mm piston and cylinder. The P/C reportedly came off the 375K cut off saw. However, to my knowledge the chop saws were 'limited' in RPMs by either carb, coil or porting. I have several of those 375 P/C setups on the shelf.

Does anyone know if they can be directly used on a chainsaw? I suppose that knowing how the RPMs were limited on a 375K would give us a clue.

Looking at IPLs it appears that there are two different part numbers:
375K 503 97 59-02
372XPW EPA 2007 544 25 43-01

This sounds like a case for SAWTROLL

When the first 375K came out they had different cylinders that they have on the 372XPW. They only used the first K cylinder for a short while. They take a lot of work to make them run on a saw but I would rather have them then the new XPW cylinder. I have one of the first ones on my personal 2171. It cant be bought from me.
If you order the old part number they will just supersede it and send you the new number.
The K rpm was limited with the coil.

I am still waiting for saws and parts. LOL

Call me.
