Mcbob I have built more than a few of those motors for other people , not sure who ported your jug but you have to really watch the intake side on these , there is not much for the intake skirt on the piston to run on so they break off and that in most cases breaks the sleeve as well

So I see a new sleeve in the picture , did it get put in ?  and what width is the piston skirt on intake side compared to port width , as I can see the intake port has taken a beating in the pictures and I'm sure the intake skirt took a hell of alot more of a beating , If it had a chrome bore so it could run a tighter clearance I would be alot happier than running a sleeve cause the clearance is alot more and that leads to more intake trouble as the intake side of the piston always takes a beating

All this has me thinking about the 3120 sitting in my garage...
Thing isI don't have a tree in the neighborhood that the Jonsered 2159 or the 670 won't take care of....  And I haven't seen a real chainsaw race since I left Oregon 25yrs ago  :-(
Loves me a good timber carnival.  Wish my son could be growing up with them like I did...   Timber Tina's show at the state fair is as close as we come. It's kinda fun but....  Let's just say it's lacking!

Like I said before on Racesaws.

We will never see it compete or even run as a racesaw ;).  It will not matter and the real racers out there are not worried and only laughing.  :D :D

Pay no attention to me as I know nothing and see nothing.
