Yes, at least it is a closed loop one, so if that is the Gilardoni in question, it is a 266 one.

That is the cylinder I just replaced it with.  I do not have pics of inside of the Gilardoni cylinder

Anyway, we are back where we started regarding that Gilardoni cylinder. On the outside it looks exactly like the open loop 66/268 Gilardoni ones.

Dont know if you have room in the old muffler stud area but could you tap in an oversize thread rethread some aluminium rod screw it in with locktite the redrill and tap for standard muffler studs, long winded method but maybe cheaper than aluminium welding

Unless you have a lathe in your garage I would say the welding is MUCH cheaper.
