350 leaking gas?
« on: March 14, 2014, 03:58:32 pm »
I have a 2005 Husky 350 that just recently I started to notice it is leaking gas. Every time I set it down someplace for a few days when I pick it up there is a small puddle of gas or a gas stain. I can't really tell where it is coming from. Any suggestion where or how I can figure out where it is leaking? It still starts and runs good.

It may have a crack in the tank - typically along the seam at the bottom?

Might be the cap. You can put a new O-ring around the cap?

Would also check the tank vent as well. It will have a line that runs from the tank to filter housing. It is plastic on the end that goes into the tank and can become loose over time and leak gas.

My 350 became a leaker. A new fuel line fixed it right up.
Easy to do, too.

I haven't had a chance to work on it yet. The leak is not real bad I just have to be careful where I set it down, and set it on a newspaper or rag. It will leave a slight puddle / stain.
