Do you think the 346 is the fastest stock 50cc saw?

Cant really say for sure. It only had 325 with small 5/32 cutters and 7T. Would want 3/8 and 7T on it then a MS261 to try and find all saws without muffler mods or all saws have muffler mods. Maybe both ways.

Tested one time in 07. I know the stock 5100 muffler modded set at 14.5K with 3/8 7/32 cutter 7T rim and my fasted stock 5000 plus with tiny stock carb and baffle pulled from inside muffler set at 12.3K was right with the 5100 running 3/8 7/32 cutter 7T which is like a 8T 325 rim.

I have owned all but the Poulans on Kevins list. Is the 346 the fastest 50? Not where I live. That honor belongs to a Stihl.

That dolmar 5105 with stock 5100 muffler I bet would be a good one.

The 5105 is ready, willing, and able whenever you want to compare it with something.

I'm having problems with my 350. The primer bulb is designed to pump fuel into the carb. Correct? Acts like it is sucking air. All fuel lines are ok. Acts like it is running lean also. Runs about 15 seconds then quits. Any thoughts?

Bypass primer bulb and test run it? By rerouting the fuel lines like normal.   I have bypassed primer bulb before to run trimmers with **** bulbs till new one came in.

I dont know how the primer bulb on the 350  346 work. But on other saws and weed trimmers it just seems to push old fuel or air out to get to make easier to start.

Primer bulbs just draw fuel through the carb to purge the air out. They are sometimes called purge bulbs.

On the remote ones, you can just block off the line coming out of the carb to the bulb and run the engine normally.

If you have a air leak between the bulb assembly and back to the carb, the carb can suck air through the line and the engine will not run.

In the remote bulbs, there is a check valve in the side of the assembly that goes back to the carb.
