So then evidently the dished piston is a fluke to detune this basic consumer saw .Now I just wonder what that pup could do with a raised dome  ;)

Once again my knowledge of Husqvarna is equal to about a shot glass if all the info would fill the Atlantic ocean .

Not sure  ::)   The divider between upper trans ports is doing the trick but I'm sure ring wear will be excessive.  Didn't build it to cut firewood all day though  ;D

Obviously it's not a firewooder .Must a lot more carb too because with that much transfer it would move a lot of fuel .Ha sit and idle if it will and blow black smoke . ;D

The 350 is done and test cut with it today.

The stihl clamp I ordered did not work without using a longer screw, didnt use it anyways.  Even the poulan 415-505 Jred 2077-2083 clamp was super tight with it's longer stock screw. They both would work, but like others said before the 372 is a better fit and the poulan 3300-330 one worked great to with room to spare.

Why the jonsered update says to use a 2077 clamp is beyond me. Here is what they say.
(((Once this modification has been made, hose clamp 503 56 00-03 (used on model 2077 and 2083)
can be fitted as shown.)))

As it would be when needed the 372 clamp wasnt in the husky 362-372 bin  ??? ::).  So I went with the poulan 3300 or 330  clamp that was tested fitted Thur.

While I had this 350 torn down. I decided  I finally had seen enough of the plastic intake clamps going bad from deforming and creating air leaks and destroying saws.  I wasnt going to chance it any longer on my ported 346xpg and went ahead and put the updated partition kit on it.  All done and ready to let a guy I know that will be picking up his dad's 350 tomorrow to test out.  ;D

He left smiling and very happy with his dad's 350 and  :o at the woods ported 46cc .  Saved him tons of $$ on rebuild with just redneck fixes on everything like he wanted. Amazing the difference in the new caber ring and the trashed ring I removed. Saw only had 90psi when I got it.

Now he wants me to go over his 290 and muffler mod etc  :'( The way he was talking up stihls I figured he had a real stihl saw 036 361 etc not those  ::) ;).
