I just tried another loop of narrow kerf chain   Husky H30 = what in Oregon?  Looks alot like LP LPX type IMO not vanguard at all.  I dont like it even on a 350, JMO.

New Husqvarna H30-72 18" Saw Chain
Original Husqvarna Part
.325-Inch Pitch
.050-Inch Gauge
Low kickback
Low-vibration
It cuts a narrow kerf and requires less power from the saw than standard cutting systems. Not recommended for heavy duty work, e.g. storm damaged forests.
Recommended for use on 35cc to 55cc saws.

I got into this old 350 of mine. Has a flat top piston, looks good, doesn't have removable transfer covers, 165 psi, needed a fuel line.

Runs fine, but not nearly as zippy as a 346xp. But it's a keeper!

I'll probably port it and might put the jug on a lathe and bump comp up, be a good one to practice on. I don't know yet.

That explains the flat top piston then.  44mm was before the epa 45mm dished ones. Thanks for looking.

Worth porting? Or AM 34xp kit? Don't think I can handle the performance. Too used to ported saws now.

I've had saws that were closed port and they had the bridge removed to make them open.

Yours appears to still have the bridge.  I cant remember but thought Mitch may have removed the bridge in a 350.   (just looked mweba left the bridge in).

See below I was thinking wrong on what you meant.
