Here is a cheap option,

http://northwoodsaw.com/store/index.php?l=product_detail&p=932

That one says 44mm, I wonder if it is an open port like the pre-epa 350's are?

I got the saw today and the jug is alright, one muffler bolt will need tapped larger and they ran it with the muffler loose for a while and burned a hole in the top on the oil tank...

Thats what I understand. I have ran a 350  with NE 346 top end on it. Ran great.

I've never owned one even though I can pick them up cheap because of the plastic crankcase. Watch and keep muffler tight or it will burn right through the oil tank underneath it.

I bought this 350 as a non runner. Had weak spark. Had a unlimited 357 coil laying around.  Put that on and fired right up. Took it outside to do some cutting and noticed the muffler bolts was loose. Brought it back in and took the muffler off to have a looksie and the piston looks perfect. So already having trouble with the loose muffler bolts. Lol. Seems strong. I just want to know what a 346xp runs like also. ;)

1 thing i dont like about the 350 already is you have to take the cylinder cover off to get to the air filter and i don't much care for the primer bulb. :(

I bought a 350 off Craig's List early this past spring. I paid $120 for it case and all. I forget but I think it is a 2008 model? It has the primer bulb. The guy that had it (from a neighboring town) had the bar/chain/brake area all fowled up. I put a new bar and chain, and brake band on it. Turned out real nice. I used the bar and chains that came with it on another saw after some repair work to them.

Actually the Husky 350 had almost no time on it. The guy wasn't good enough to be able to have it function well enough to actually use it any amount.

I was really impressed by the saw in limbing applications when I got it going. To me in comparing it with what I had been using it was the most fantastic saw I had ever used. Well . . . after all, it is just a 350. There are much faster saws out there. Cut4fun's 346XP OE will run circles around it.

That is a clean one for that money. I have been passing on one like new in the case for $150 and even past up good running woods ported one for $200. Several others lot cheaper needing some work.

w8ye here is a link to the stuff I run.   Original and Super. Right now I am on a case of Original. The tech I talked to at Klotz has been trying to talk me  into trying lite original next. I have never had any problems with original or super. So I am leery of lites claims.  http://www.klotzlube.com/products.asp?cat=8

My 350 was probably the one you saw that said "like new $150"

No bar nuts or brake band and the Carlton chains wouldn't fit in the rails of the John Deere bar because they had jumped off so many times they had dings on the drivers. The case was full of water. So I "low balled" him.

The filter wasn't dirty on the saw.

Most of the problems with the chains was caused by a poor dealer. The saw owner was not knowledgeable enough to take the chains to another dealer.

You used the bar and one of the chains on the Dolmar 111i.

I bet the "Lite" Klotz they are talking about is the new "Low Vis" oil that has less drag on the engine? You get more RPM with it?
