Good idea above.  cant stand aka log stand thread  http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/tools/cant-stand/msg2460/#msg2460
I'll send those pics to that thread Kevin.
I use my stands occasionally for chainsaw training courses that I put on and instruct.
I'm making some new ones that are a lot lighter out of aluminum. From the 8x8" heavy schedule 80 steel tubing I used I'm going to 6x6" aluminum. I'll make it so its hinged and I can fold it up flat. The cargo winch will bolt on and the 4x8' sheet of 3/4" plywood will have a piano hinge and fold in half.
With the stand bolted to a sheet of heavy plywood , the weight of the saw operator keeps the log or cant solid in place.
I once did a bow saw cutting demonstration in a hotel lobby. :D
Making a living with a saw since age 16.
