Got it back together. Realized when I was putting it back together that I needed a new oil pump gear. I did remove the base gasket for a squish around .30. Don't remember have it written down some where. Opened up the lower transfers and a little work on the uppers. Making some test cuts yesterday and it pulls very well. Did a muffler mod. Found that if you want to remove the baffle plate on the inside you are better to cut the whole thing in half than just grinding the seem. They have that thing  spot welded everywhere. Only problem I have with it is if you rev the saw slowly off idle it goes way lean on fuel and will shut off or almost shutoff. If you pull the trigger back wideopen it never misses a beat. Not sure if the carb or my porting. Does have the HDA 175 carb. Fun build and a nice little saw.
FEAR NO TREE. FEAR GOD.
